This type of kite will teach you more about how kites fly than any other.
The best way to learn what can be achieved by bridle and spar bow settings is to Rok fight. Over several battles you experience every wind speed.
On one day you will adjust the frame and bridle to allow the kite to hang on a thermal. The next fight the wind may be cranking and you have the choice to set the kite for heavy or light pull.
On a perfect day it is possible to fly more than one rok on a single anchor. Flying the kites at different angles of attack and even left or right of each other.
Mik Jennison from England came up with a skin and frame proportion for a Rok that I still use in different scales today. It works perfectly for both display and fighting. Many thanks Mik..... it still kicks butt!
My versions have no metal bow adjuster fittings
