Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
This is what I do and love.
When I design a kite I am never thinking of any one individual kite. I piece together groups of color and intensity in my mind. Each piece is a finished canvas within a bigger picture.
The big picture is what gives me the thrill! To launch and fly large color groupings is why I do what I do.
It is hard to describe the buzz I get on that first flight. All the work and thought finally coming together for the first time. The second and third flights allow me to refine my airborne picture. By the end of the season I am bored with them and itching to start another idea.
